For most of our purchasers it’s their first experience of buying a home. We know how daunting the process can be and that’s why we aim to make it as simple and easy as possible.
Buying a Crown House Home
Book a site visit – contact us through the site, by phone or by contacting our agents and arrange to come and visit the site
Reserve your home – once you have chosen your home, you fill out and sign a reservation form, pay the deposit (£500-£5000 depending on the property) and the buying process starts
Arranging a mortgage – you may have already spoken to your bank or financial advisor and if not, don’t worry our agents will introduce to a reputable local company
Instructing a solicitor – you will need a solicitor to act on your behalf during the purchase. Again we can recommend suitable local solicitors who for a fixed competitive fee will make sure the purchase goes through smoothly
Pre-exchange inspection – prior to ‘exchange of contracts’ we will ask you to check your new home and make sure you are completely happy with everything. To exchange you will need to pay a deposit to your solicitor and a fixed date for ‘completion’ will be agreed.
Legal completion and handover – On the agreed date the home will be legally transferred to you and the keys will be available from our agents. You will be presented with an information binder that contains all of the warranties and details for your new home and both crown house homes staff and our agents will be available to assist with any questions you may have.
